Location: South Region (Basingstoke, Reading and surrounding areas

Basic Salary: Between £35k - £37k + Company Van

Role Overview

The B2B Product Specialist – Mobility Scooters plays a key role in driving sales and product adoption across a network of retail partners. Acting as the technical and commercial product expert, this role supports retailers with product training, demonstrations, range optimisation, and ongoing technical advice. 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the product expert for the mobility scooter range across retail accounts

• Deliver in-store and group product training to retail staff

• Conduct product demonstrations and range presentations to retailers

• Advise retailers on product selection, merchandising, and range positioning

• Support new product launches, promotions, and commercial initiatives

• Provide technical guidance on specifications, features, accessories, and compliance

• Act as the link between retailers, sales, and internal technical/aftersales teams

• Assist with resolving product queries and technical escalations

• Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and retailer feedback

• Ensure product knowledge and materials are accurate and up to date

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Experience in a B2B product specialist or technical sales

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail environments

• Ability to confidently present, train, and influence retail partners

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Organised and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple accounts

• Full, clean driving licence

Desirable:

• Experience within mobility, healthcare, or assistive technology sectors

• Understanding of retail sales cycles and dealer networks

• Mechanical or technical aptitude

• Experience supporting product launches into retail channels
