Description: Solar PV Electrician – £35,000 to £40,000 per year
Location: Wigan / North West (including Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Carlisle)

A reputable and growing client in the renewables and heating sector is currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician based in or near Wigan, looking to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects across the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of electrical installation tasks, with a strong focus on Solar PV, battery storage, and air source heat pump connections.

• Install Solar PV systems
• Install and connect battery storage systems
• Connect and commission air source heat pumps
• Install domestic storage heaters
• Test, inspect, and certify all work in line with NICEIC standards, using the online portal

• Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
• Competency in Electrical Inspection & Testing
• 18th Edition
• EESS Battery Storage qualification
• ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Minimum 5 years of electrical experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
