Graduate Quantity Surveyor Duties
- Appointing and negotiating with subcontractors for various project schemes.
- Overseeing subcontractor packages from initial appointment through to final account.
- Preparing and submitting valuations and managing variations throughout project lifecycles.
- Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Regular visits to monitor work progress, quality, and cost control.
- Ensuring compliance with internal systems and procedures, including Information Management Systems.
- Performing other tasks relevant to the role as required.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor requirements
- Third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year post-graduate
- Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines using your own initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in negotiation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
- Full, valid driving licence required
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
