Graduate Quantity Surveyor Duties
  • Appointing and negotiating with subcontractors for various project schemes.
  • Overseeing subcontractor packages from initial appointment through to final account.
  • Preparing and submitting valuations and managing variations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Working closely with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Regular visits to monitor work progress, quality, and cost control.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal systems and procedures, including Information Management Systems.
  • Performing other tasks relevant to the role as required.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor requirements
  • Third-level degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year post-graduate
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines using your own initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in negotiation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Full, valid driving licence required

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000
