Description: Electrical Contracts Manager Duties

  • Manage electrical projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and final account settlement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Lead, support, and develop your team to ensure the highest professional standards are achieved at all times.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and UK regulations (e.g., BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations).
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Electrical Contracts Manager Requirements
  • Extensive experience in electrical contract management within the industrial and commercial sectors.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, standards, and UK regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
